Biography
Adria was born in Genoa in 1969 where she currently lives and works. Sartore’s work first came to the attention of an international audience when the BP Portrait Award committee selected her for exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in 2004. She has since participated in exhibitions and international art fairs in Asia, Italy, Russia, Spain and the US.
1995/96 Grant in Philosophy – University of Paris La Sorbonne IV/1997 Degree in Philosophy with Summa cum Laud Honours with a thesis in Aesthetics – University of Genoa, Italy/ 1999/00 Academy of fine art of Brera, Milan, Italy.
